Jaxsen and Dad

Jaxsen is such a daddy's boy, and I think that by the time Dave gets home from work Jax's is tired of seeing my face so he just loves to be with Dad.
Plus Dad just LOVES to be with him!! He is so content in his arms.

Jaxsen has discovered that he is big enough to sit in his high chair. He's not eating on it but just playing. He loves to sit in it and watch me fix dinner and do dishes, it's funner to do those crappy jobs when you have his cute face looking at ya and smiling. I agree with Laurie, the space saver is awsome!!

I was a little worried that he wouldn't sleep very well in the camper, but as you can see he slept like a log!! OHHH he is so cute.
He wasn't a big fan of all the clothes he had to wear though. Good thing it was warm and he only had to stay bundled for a little bit.

JAXSEN GOES CAMPING!!!

We took Jaxsen camping with us last weekend, and I think he had a fun time!
He helped me get things ready for dinner Friday night, he thought the camper was pretty cool.He just kept looking around and observing everything.
He loved Grandma and Grandpa's new camper too!! He thinks the couch feels just like Grandpa's recliner chair, and he loves Grandpa's recliner.
He also loved to just hang out and chill with us around the camp fire.

Jaxsen is finally old enough to start enjoying all that his swing has to offer. He has realized that the mobile moves and he thinks it's pretty cool. He just watches is back around and around. It's so cute to see his head go back and forth, back and forth.
He is easily entertained!!

Jaxsen's Room Finally Almost Done

Jaxsen's room has been a work in progress. It's taken me a while but it's finally all coming together. This is where he spends a good protion of his day and all night!!
Never mind the blue blanket hanging in the window, I still need to get some blinds. I said "work in progress"
These are the cute letters that I made with Laurie and Carol. Well actually Carol cut them out and Laurie glued the paper on, but I painted the blocks and picked out the paper. (Ok Carol helped pick out the paper too)
It's hard for me to work on it because I only get things done when he is sleeping and he is ususally sleeping in here. Or at least that is how I justify it.

Crazy Sleeper

The other morning, we woke up to find Jaxsen in an unusual position. He is a crazy sleeper, but he has never done this before!! All I can say is good thing we have bumpers on his crib now, because he was stretched from one end to the other just kicking his legs and moving around!!
Dave and I had a good laugh at his expense!!

One Last Hoorah

Here is Jaxsen in my FAVORITE pajama's (his aligator jammies) well they are begginning to get a little to small for him, well actually that is a lie, they are to small for him and they have been for a few weeks now, but i'm having a hard time letting go of this one. Everytime I see him in them it just makes me smile!!
These are Dave's new glasses, they look really good on him, but they look even cuter on Jax's!! (Sorry Babe)

Little Poser

We went down to my mom and dad's on sunday and Jaxsen just loves his grandpa's recliner chair. He used to just sit there but now he's learning how to lift his bum up and wiggle his way down, and almost out of the chair. But ohh he is so cute.

HAPPY FATHERS DAY

Dave had his first fathers day, and ohh it was a good one. Jaxsen is such a daddy's boy he just smiles and talkes to dad when he gets home. Dave is such an amazing dad. Jaxsen is one lucky boy to have a dad that cares for him as much as he does. Jaxsen will NEVER have to wonder if his daddy loves him.
Jaxsen also loves his grandpa Hatch.. Exspecially when it come time to take a nap!! They are so cute together
And Jaxsen is also lucky enough to have one of the most amazing Great Grandpa's around. I know I sure am lucky to have him!!

OUR FAVORITE HIPPIE!!

This is our favorite hippie Tony, he lives across the street from my mom and dad. He has seen me and my brother grow up and has done a lot to help out Dave and I. We lived in his house for practically nothing when we were getting on our feet before we got married.
He lives in Antartica, October through April so when he come home we try to get together a few times to catch up. He came over last friday night and we all had an EXCELENT time. Expecially Tony!!
He was so surprised at how cute Jaxsen is. But I don't know what he expected, I mean look at Dave and I (HAHA) We hope that Uncle Tony knows how much we love him, and think he is a pretty good old hippie!! HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!!

Although snowy days are good for some things. I actually got my house cleaned. I finally got some curtains and begged Dave to put them up for me, (THANKS BABY) so now we have a little shade and a little privacy. Here is Jaxsen's play room, (other wise known as our living room)

ANOTHER SNOWY DAY

OH!! Well we woke up this morning to snow AGAIN!! It's June already, when is it going to stop? Well me and Jaxsen and Lexi decided that if it was gloomy and nasty outside that we were just going to stay in and be lazy.
Well actually Jax's and Lexi got to be lazy and obviously there wasn't a lot of room for me to lay so I just got to sit and watch them sleep.

Dad's Team

You can almost always tell when Dave gets Jaxs ready for bed. He is either wearing his Dad's Team P.J's or something red. He looks cute no matter what he wears though.

Uncle L.P.

Jaxsen Finally got to meet his Uncle L.P. He's been waiting patiently for the past 2 months. But they definately made up for lost time. Jax's has been hanging with L every chance he can.
They are pretty good buddies!!

First Trip To Wendy's

Yesterday my mom and I took Max to Jackson for the first time. We went and had lunch at Wendy's and mom decided to share her frosty with Max.
He was quite enjoying it. I think he got more on his shirt than in his mouth though.
He is his daddy's boy. He loves Wendy's!! (or at least when he goes with Grandma Hatch, she shares her frosty!!) WE LOVE GRANDMA!!
