Random Happenings

This is a pretty cool sight to wake up to. Jax was loving it. He did his deer calls right out our back door and got all their attention.

 Until he did a bear growl..

 Syd is a bubble guppie JUNKIE!!

 Jax on class picture day. When he got his individual pictures taken he dressed up really nice with his tie and suit jacket and some of the kids teased him for wearing that.. then when we got the class pictures back there were 4 boys with ties on so I guess he's a trend setter :) One of the many things I love about Jax is his self confidence. He really could care less what anyone else thinks he is who he is and that's good with him. I hope that never changes in him.

 Sydney has figured out the remote control toys and LOVING them!

 She also is obsessed with eating chapstick. It grosses me out but she seems to enjoy it?! I love her in these pictures just relaxing in her chair eating some cherry chapstick.

She can turn ANYTHING into a phone so we got her her own phone to talk on. She is also applying her new lipstick. pucker up girl!! 

 For Mother's Day Dave cooked a delicious prime rib and Jaxsen hand dipped strawberries in chocolate for me. I love those! But this was probably my favorite mother's day gift.. Jax and Syd laying together being sweet to each other. Jax playing a game on my phone and Syd just contently watching. I Love these two more than I ever thought possible!

Jax hits 6

This year for Jax's birthday things were a little crazy around our house hold. We were right in the middle of finishing the basement so the rest of the house was a WRECK. Plus his birthday was the first day of Spring break and a few of his friends were out of town. So we decided that instead of a birthday party we would get Jax his first BIG kid bike! The last day of school before break we made cupcakes in ice cream cones and took treats to school. They were a big hit and Jax LOVED all the attention.

 We tried for some class pictures but man.. getting 16 kids to all look at you and smile at the same time while eating cupcakes at the end of the day before spring break is not as easy as it sounds!

 Jax got to open presents from Grandma and Grandpa Hatch on Sunday before Grandpa left to go out of town for work. He LOVED this dozer and truck with a gooseneck trailer. This kid is CRAZY for trucks!

 Then on his birthday morning Syd gave him a little something to open..

 LEGO'S!! He's been dying over this truck, trailer lego set. Then per his request Dave made him his favorite breakfast.. An omlet.

 Then when I got off work we went out to Rexburg to Bill's Bike Shop and let Jax pick out ANY bike he wanted. He tested a few but decided in this cool white and red one! He also donated his old bike so they could fix it up and give it to a little kid for Christmas.

 Grandma and Papa gave him this white board that he's been dying to get. I wrote a little birthday message on it and quickly went to work on his response. I can't believe how big this kid is getting, he is so kind and compassionate. He truly is a special spirit. Happy Birthday Jaxsen Max we LOVE you SO SO MUCH!!
