Mesa Falls and Jax's 1st day of 1st GRADE!!

Before school started we took off and went on a little trip to Mesa Falls. Syd is not a very good car rider so the trip took us about 3 times longer than normal. We got out and ventured around the falls and tried to tire the kids out so it might be a quiet trip home.  On our way we stopped and had lunch at Big Judd's and enjoyed cheeseburgers and fries. Then after we got done at the falls we went for a milkshake at Frost Tops in Ashton. We had a great day and hopefully will be a great start to Jaxsen's year of 1st Grade.

 It's tradition for me to take Jaxsen on his first day of school, (it makes us both feel a little bit more at ease) Jax was excited and couldn't wait to be in the classroom with his own desk. Sydney was even more excited and once we were there she did NOT want to leave. This is Mrs. Moulton's last year teaching and I feel so blessed that Jaxsen is in her last class. She works wonders with kids and reading and gets them off to an unbelievable start. (She also was my 1st grade teacher) whew..  After school we waited for Jax to get home so they could ride their bikes around together. Jax said he had a great day.

Sydney Turns 2

Well we made it another year with our sweet, sassy little pretty. We had our usual family party and enjoyed pizza and a delicious cake made by Marilyn Webster. She does the best job. Grandma Barkdull came first thing in the morning to bring Syd a new birthday outfit. This cute little pink dress and the cutest pink shoes any 2 year old has ever wore. She got to spend the day at Mistie's house playing with the girls. Then we rushed home to get all set up for the party. This year Jaxsen went with Papa Barkdull to the rodeo in Twin Falls and he actually missed Syd's  birthday but luckily Mistie and the girls were able to stop by for the party. Syd got a new kitchen and all the fun gadgets that she needs to really cook up a meal, a new backpack, clothes, baby doll, stroller and baby bed. We had a great night another birthday in the books :)

 

Syd's first trip to BarT5

Every summer when family comes to town we usually go to the Bar T5. This was Jaxsen's 5 or 6 trip but Syd's first. She had a great time. Jax's got to drive the wagon a little and was also entertainment during the show. He loves to get up in the row and play his "Fiddle" and jam out with the band. Syd had a great time dancing on the table and meeting new friends.
