Our LAST camp trip

Well I've been waiting to post this because I was hoping that we would get one more camp trip in this year, but I think that is out of the question!! So here are pictures from our LAST camp trip!! Jaxsen is just mesmerized by the ax and all the wood, he is ALL boy!! He would help dave split wood and then stack it up and then carry it to the fire pit!! It was so cute, until we got a fire going then it was a fight to keep him away from it..

He packed firewood for about 10 minutes.. He would just keep going back for more!! What a funny kid and a good helper, plus he kept us all entertained..

He also would put grandpa's gloves on and try to carry firewood.. But they kept getting in the way and falling off so he x-ed them out pretty fast!!

I love at how dirty he got!! I think it's cute when he just plays so hard and gets so dirty!! I remember alot of my best memories as a kid involved a lot of dirt and mud!!

We took all these toys with us and he didn't play with any of them, and why would he?? He had firewood to pack, ground to rake and......

Camping Part 3

grass to weed eat!! He played with the weed wacker for hours at a time, just making noise and cutting grass!! I wonder what goes on in his head?? I love this kid so much he just keeps us laughing!!

I don't know why this picture is all out of wack... But I love how dirty his face is!! You know he had fun when it took us 2 baths to get him clean!! But we all had a blast, enjoyed each other's company, ate great food and relaxed under the stars.. ahh I hate to see summer go..

Jax and Dad

Here are more pictures of Jax and Dave!! It is so cute to see Jax idealize his daddy!! This day, Dave was fixing the door and had his drill out, so Jax immediately got a drill bit out of the case as started making drill noises and fixing the door too... It was so cute. Then Dave let Jax hold the drill and he was LOVING IT!!

My bruise is bigger than your bruise!!

Well we have a crazy couple of weeks.. Dave was out getting firewood and a tree fell on him, we thought that it blew his knee out, but it ended up just being a sprained knee, sprained ankle and a really bruised shin. On the top picture his whole ankle was bruised so bad, but we put this machine on it and his has sticky squares and when we took it off it looked like this.. guess it was working because with in a few days all the bruising was gone and dave was back on his feet!! The picture below is his shin where the tree actually hit him.. Guess I should just be glad that he came home with 2 arms and 2 legs!! haha love ya babe!!

Then Jaxsen had to show him up.. We were playing over at Amy's house and Jax and Ky were playing kitchen.. cooking..cleaning and eating popcorn, well all of a sudden I just looked up and Jax just sat on the ground crying.. and it's pretty unusaual that this kid cries.. Ky had accidentally hit him with a glass lid to a pan right between the eyes. That night it didn't look to bad but the next moring I went in to get him and was like WWWOOOOWW... where did this come from!! Guess he got hit harder than I thought!! Poor boy..

New Sunday Activity!!

Well we have another 49er fan in our family!! Jax has discovered that he loves watching football with his dad..well actually he loves anything that involves his dad!! The other day I walked in the bedroom and found this!! I almost teared up.. I love watching my little guy grow up, but I wish it didn't happen so fast!! He tried to be big like his dad!!

This is now Dave and Jax's tradition to wear their 49er gear on sundays!! To funny kids!! Love both my boys!!
