ICe SCrEaM

 No trip to Grandma & Papa's is complete with out some messy... sticky... ICe SCrEaM

 Poor Jax had a rough tumble down the stairs, when I got there his legs were over his head and he was screaming, he smashed his head on the wall and skinned his nose on the carpet.. Poor kid looks pretty rough but the ice cream made it all better!! After he calmed down he was quick to tell Grandma that "those stairs are DaNGer!!"

 Then things started getting crazy when Jaxsen and Kennedy started tickling Papa... then tickling turned in to

 TACKLE... Jaxsen and Kennedy played pretty good together with only a few fights and a few time outs..

then they started to tackle Dave.. It was a fun... crazy... day!! Not a bad way to spend a snowy, freezing cold afternoon

It's CHRISTMAS time

 We DID IT... Got our tree up and decorated. Dave was sweet enough to set the tree in the stand and put all the lights on, then Jax and I decorated. Well Jaxsen decorated one branch with about 6 balls and I went ahead and decorated the rest of the tree!! Gotta love a little boy that's trying to help!

 Yes.. I know our angel is tipsy, Dave said it's a dancing angel and she just moves around alot. Guess since I can't reach it, I won't complain (at least it up there)

 We got our skating snowmen up..

 Our wreath that I made the year before Dave and I got married (it's held up pretty well)

 Our stocking are hung.. (even Lexi's)

And this is how I found Jaxsen in his room... fast asleep in his chair. Guess all the decorating and christmas cheer just wore him right out!

Nothing like a day in the snow...

 Keeping with tradition the day day after thanksgiving we headed up to get our christmas tree. Good thing we scouted it out a couple of weeks ago because it was hard to pick a good tree with 3 feet of snow covering them. Dave and Morgan went up and plowed us a trail to our spot then we loaded up the kids and went up.

 Jaxsen stepped into the fresh snow and we almost lost him, he sunk down to his shoulders, (good thing Dave was close by) but he was LOVING IT!! He made snow angles...

 rode in the sled...

 fell out of the sled...

 and he couldn't be happier. His poor little cheeks were bright red but he did NOT want to leave!!

 Before we left Jaxsen and Kennedy were outside playing and Jaxsen was just a diggin away. I asked him "what are you digging for?'

He said "I'm making a chair"... smart kid! After all that digging he was tired. Love  you kiddo

PRESENTING...

 Our future christmas tree... after Thanksgiving of course (only because the forest service won't sell you a permit until then) Isn't it a beaut?

 Uncle Rick was screaming at Jaxsen to get away from his tree.. "Jeeze Rick he's only 2"

 The good thing about having a little boy is that he thinks its super cool to pee outside.. Hey as long as he's not peeing in his pants.. good for him!!

 Jaxsen and Peyton were good little troopers but they started to get hungy and tired... so they found a nice log to sit and relax on.

 Then Jaxsen got dad to give him a shoulder ride.. lucky kid!! Look at that hairy guy... he keeps saying he's going to trim it down.. but we'll see!!

Jax and Grandpa Hatch

 My mom and I take an excersice class on Tuesday night and Dave was out of town so my dad stepped in and watched Jax for me. They had a BLAST!! Jaxsen got to take a bath in Grandpa's HUGE tub, they made blueberry muffins, and played with these new "old" toys that my dad saved from LP's younger years.

 When we got back Jax was loungin on the couch in his underware watching Coyote and Road Runner just laughing his butt off.. I don't know who had more fun Jaxsen or Grandpa??

THANKS DAD, WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH. JAXSEN ENJOYS EVERY SINGLE SECOND HE GETS TO SPEND WITH YOU!!

I LOVE....

I LOVE..that you sleep with 6 pillows (like me)
I LOVE... that even if it's 90 degrees outside you still cuddle up with your blanket (like me)
I LOVE... that you cuddle with your stuffed animals when you sleep (like me)
I LOVE... that you let me lay with you and read you books
I LOVE.. that when I get up to leave you say "I WANT you mamma"
I LOVE... that you say Thank you to your humdifier for making your nose feel better

and I LOVE... that when you get in bed you say "Love you good night Jesus, Thank you for our blessings"

This night light was my brothers... then mine... and now Jaxsen's. He says Jesus helps him have sweet dreams, I love that my mom and dad kept special things like this that I'm able to share with my son.

SPIDERMAN

Jaxsen was the cutest Spiderman this year for Halloween, he was so excited when Dave came home with this costume!!

He insisted I take a picture of his matching spiderman bag! Then he showed off his big muscles. We tried to hit the Trunk of Treat but it was down pouring rain... and.... we didn't need candy that bad

But when we went to trick or treat one house we were met by the scariest witch in town... but really sweet! Jaxsen ran up to him and gave him a huge hug and pulled of his mask.... to find Grandpa Hatch!!
