Golf 2014

This summer, Jaxsen wanted to try his hand at golf and he did GREAT! He really loved it and always wanted to practice and learn new stuff. This was his tournament after his 9 week First Tee Program. He also had some private lessons with an amazing golfer that helped him out a bunch.
Warming up before he starts.

Headed to the T Box to get started

Here's the kids in his four some.

Dropping a coin to see what order they go in.
Jax did such a great job this year and he really excelled at putting.

They dropped his first ball at 100 yards and he made it on the green in 4 shots. I was so impressed at his patience with all the kids and especially himself. It took him 2 putts to get it in and I think I was more excited than he was. He is already talking about next year.

Park Family Reunion 2014

This year the Park Family Reunion didn't disappoint. We all had a great time and Syd LOVED being able to run WHERE EVER she wanted! She also got pretty dang good on her bike over this weekend. She had a few tumbles but got right back up and kept on a going. Aunt Brenda was in charge of the reunion this year.. which meant we were right there to help her. We had some yummy breakfasts and some DELICIOUS Dutch oven chicken and potatoes.

Jaxsen was the only big boy this year among a pretty good group of girls.. but that didn't stop them from all playing and riding bikes together. Jax tries to deny it but really he LOVES all the attention from the girls :)

And Syd wasn't about to be left out.. she was always hot on their trail and she kept up pretty darn good.

The weather was beautiful this year. It rained on Friday but by the afternoon it had cleared up and was a nice weekend for us to sit around, relax and catch up with family.

Crazy cousin Jeremy brought the fun this year with his home made bottle rocket launchers. You fill up a liter bottle with water and put it on the brace and pump air in it from an air pumper and.... watch the bottle fly. ALL the kids had a blast, even the BIG BIG kids (DAVE)

Sydney wanted NO help from anyone but was frustrated when she couldn't pump it herself. So Grandma tried to carefully help with out making her feel like she wasn't doing it herself. Both my cute kids stick their tongue out when they are concentrating.

 1.. BLAST OFF

And it's never a reunion with out a little water fight between the kids!

Syd trying to defend her brother and get her daddy!!

 I just love these faces!!

Parker knows what's going on.. why peddle yourself when you can be wheeled around?

And Sydney is never shy about asking someone to share whatever they have with her!! And she usually always gets what she wants which is going to pose quite a problem for us down the road.

 A little horseshoe throwing

This is the delicious Dutch oven dinner I was talking about earlier.

And camping is never complete without half a bag of marshmallows!!

My sweet cousin Jeff also handed down his belt buckle from the Horseshoe tournament last year to Jaxsen. Jaxsen wears it with pride and was so appreciative that he did that.

And isn't that the CUTEST Wrangler butt you've ever seen?!! The answer is YES!!
