Jaxsen's first trip to the lake!!

Last weekend we went camping in Island Park, and we had a BLAST!! We went with a few good friends, and we had a bunch of good times!! I was really nervous about letting Jaxsen get in the water because he loves the water and I knew he would be out in the middle of the lake before I knew it!!! DING DING DING I was right. He was loving it. The water was a little too chilly for me, but not for him, he just sat out in there, his little legs floating up by his chest...LOVING IT!! Good thing Tara was there to tough it out in the water with him!!

I love how he's waving and blowing me kisses, like he thinks I'm leaving so he can play deeper with all the big kids.. haha

Then we came back to camp where he just sat and played with his truck in the dirt for about an hour. It amazes me how he can entertain himself for long periods of time.. He was such a good kid!!

Then after a nice nap in the camper he was ready to go again.. Here's he's playing with the big kids on the floaty toy. Kyla was so good with him, always keeping an eye on him and playing with him.. If your wondering what happened to his head, let me tell ya.. We had just gotten to the camp ground and set things up. Me and Jax were in the camper getting Jax's play pen set up when one of the kids came in to get something and when they left they didn't get the screen door shut all the way... Jax saw his window of opportunity to escape and well he did.. He pushed through the screen and landed right on the step with his head. I was able to grab his shorts right as he pushed through so I caught him before he hit the ground but his head had already hurt. It just scraped it but man did it bleed. I was thinking oh good, 15 minutes into our trip and it's time to go to the hospital.. He truely is his fathers son!!

Then on Saturday we went out on the boat and Jaxsen has a ball!!! Other than wearing his life jacket he was having so much fun.. He was yelling at the kids on the tube and laughing like crazy.. And mad because his mean old mom wouldn't let him out on the tube.

Sneaky Kid

The other day I was in the kitchen doing the dishes and all of a sudden Jax got really quiet.. Well any mom knows that, that is a sign of mischeif.. I went in to the living room and he was just a jammin out to my ipod.. He actually had it turned on and the ear peice up to his ear, just a listening and dancing..

Jax had a blast playing with his cousins while they were here, we all will be sad when they leave..

Summer time

Well I have have absolutely no ambition do blog, I'm actually making myself do it now.. But I'm going to try to do a bunch and have them all post later.. We have been having so much fun this summer, Jaxsen is loving to play outside and we are loving chasing him around. He is such a daddy's boy so when he sees dad out mowing the lawn he's got to go out and follow him around.. He thinks he is quite the big boy!!

In the picture above it was so cute, Dave had just passed him on the lawn mower and gave him a thumbs up, so Jax is desperatley trying to figure out how to do it so he can give dad a thumbs up too!! Like father like son!!

Jaxsen's new ride

This is Jaxsen's new ride.. He LOVES it!! But what little boy wouldn't love a dumptruck..Well since he is a little to small to have a motorized vehicle Dave just hookes it up to the lawn mower and pulls him around. Maybe next summer we'll put the batteries in it and let him take control..

BEAR WORLD

Well since the cousins were here Morgan and Carol decided to brave it and take all four of the grandkids to bear world. (I wondered what they were thinking.. But glad they had fun) Jax had a blast, he loved all the animals and all the running around. Good thing Parker and Liza were there to keep up with Jax and Kennedy!!

Nothing like a Wrangler Butt!!

We took Jaxsen to the rodeo over the 4th and we put him in his Wranglers.. He looked so cute, however he could hardly walk in them they were so stiff. I washed them a few times but I guess he has to wear them more than one time to get them broke in!!

Jax loved watching the rodeo he is such a funny kid!! He also loved sharing his (empty) Mtn. Dew with Uncle Perry!! Sweet boy

He also just sat on the gate with Grandma Hatch and watched...and watched...and watched...He almost made it through the whole rodeo I was amazed!!
