AHHH!!

I just can't resist snapping pictures of this kid when he's sleeping!! I love to just sit and watch him sleep.. Dave came in one night while I was watching Jax sleep.. and says "I hope you don't stare, and take pictures of me when I'm sleeping" I said... "Guess you'll never know!!"

OH to be able to sleep so peaceful and relaxed.. with no worries..no stress.. just pure relaxed dreaming!! I love you bubbs.. Sleep good!!

Toy Box?? Or Race Car??

What good is a toy box if you can't take all the toys out and pretend it's a really fast Race Car?? This kid has the funniest imagination, he is perfectly content just sitting in his toy box for hours playing pretend with himself.. One minute it's a race car.. the next minute he's hiding from bad guys, then grabs his gun and bang..bang..I could just sit and watch him..

But as soon as he's spotted he freezes up!! OHHH what a kid!

$12.00 snow shovel

Why did we just spend hundreds of dollars on christmas presents.. when the one thing he loves the most is a $12.00 snow shovel??

Trucks

He also got 2 of these big tonka trucks and a loader.. so naturally we had to take them outside and load the truck up with snow!! Then take it and dump it all in a big pile!! I love his imagination and I love that he can just sit and play by himself.. He doesn't need to be entertained but loves to have someone to play with!!

We played outside for about an hour until the neighbor kids came out on their snowmobiles... Then the truck and loader weren't all that fun.. He wanted to go play with them and was mad at mom when she made him come in!!

Finally

It finally warmed up above zero degrees so we could go and play outside!! After 20 minutes of getting Jaxsen all bundled up and ready to play we went outside and went on a little adventure!!

He wasn't sure how to walk in the snow!! It was cracking me up!! He would fall forward and then just say mmmooommm.. Plus his snow boots are still a littel stiff and hard to walk in!! He was having a blast!!

more christmas

He got this cool backhoe with lots of noises from Grandpa and Grandma Udy!! Jaxsen was a little overwhelmed with all his new toys this year!! Wasn't sure which ones to play with?? He loved everything!!

Jaxsen and Dave got new boots this year.. I did to but I guess I wasn't cool enough to make the boot posing picture!! Jaxsen insisted on wearing his boots almost all day.. He wanted to go outside but it was a little to cold!!

This car is pretty cool.. wish it came in my size!! It has doors but Jaxsen loves to crawl over like the Dukes of Hazard!!

It's got all sorts of bells and whistles, head lights, blinkers, and you can even plug your ipod into it and jam out to music!! What a spoiled kid!!

Then he got this cool steering wheel that makes all sorts of sounds, beeps and shakes.. (What were we thinking??) Oh ya we were thinking that he would love it!! Which he does!! Guess that makes it all worth it

The in keeping with the cars.. Grandma and Granpa Hatch bought him his first car!! And oh man does he love it.. At least now he has figured out how to steer with the steering wheel instead of just driving into the wall. It's turning radius isn't that great inside of our house.. but better than nothing.. It will be really fun in the summer time

He thinks he's one cool dude!! He puts all of his toys in his car and then cruises around the house till he gets stuck then yells for mom or dad and says "Stuck"

Nothing like a kid at Christmas!!

Jaxsen was SO SO Fun this year at christmas!! After 3 trips to see Santa and a special visit from Santa at Grandma and Papa's house I think he finally understood what this guy in red was all about!! We let Jaxsen sleep in until 6:00 am until we woke him up.. I can't wait till he's to excited to sleep!! This year Santa was very good to him.. and Santa stoped and left presents at 3 places. Our house, Grandma and Grandpa Hatch's and Grandma and Papa Barkdull's.

I love these pictures.. He is excited about all his toys but still a little groggy.. And all morning he was asking "Where's Santa??" His main theme this year was Cars.. He got some little cars in a truck case from Grandma and Papa Barkdull's Santa Clause, and got some Hot Wheels cars and a carry case from Santa Clause at our house!!!
