Bumps, Bruises and FaT LIpS

 With our kids bumps and bruises are inevitable.. but these two happened all in one night. Jaxsen was out riding his bike when he came in screaming.. tears rolling down his face and almost hyperventilating. We asked him what happened and he said he fell of his bike and bent his pinkie finger back and scraped his palms. As Dave was examining the wounds he noticed Jaxsens' head and said "What happened to your head" as Jax replies "WHERE?" Dave and I were dumbfounded that with a goose egg the size of this one he was worried about his pinkie finger. He then told us that when he fell his  handle bars twisted and he hit his head on the end of it.. OUCH

 Then later that night Sydney was roaming around the kitchen and Lexi heard the garage door open.  Which usually means her dinner time so she darted off to cut across the kitchen and ended up knocking Syd's legs right out from under her and hitting her face right on the tile.. OUCH again :( We all were ready for this night to be OVER!!



Valentines Day

 This year I woke up like it was any other day. Woke Jax up and headed downstairs to get breakfast going. When I went downstairs I found these beautiful flowers waiting for me on the counter with the most thoughtful card from my incredibly wonderful husband. And if that isn't sweet enough when Jax came down stairs..

 He had a rose and a card signed by him.  I love my boys so much and I love that Dave is teaching Jaxsen how to be a good man and treat a lady. He is such an Amazing example for Jax to look up to and in the FAR FAR FAR away future hopefully he treats his wife as great as Dave treats me.

 This year we surprised Jax with a trip to Idaho Falls to stay the night in a hotel so he could SWIM SWIM and SWIM some more. We also went to dinner and a movie and topped it off with this cool lego tow truck. We had such a good weekend and were SO excited to get home and snuggle with Sydney and of course.. put together that tow truck!
