This 4th of July was a particularly special one for our family. We finally bought a house!! We moved in June 26th and spent this 4th of July celebrating OUR new independence. We had the BEST view of the Balloon launch from our back deck and the BEST view of the fireworks from our garage. We feel so incredibly lucky to be in a place of our own! Jax and I chased balloons to watch them deflate, he thought that was pretty cool. Then we went to the Victor parade and Jax decided to ride the float with the Learning Academy. It was strange to not have kid on the sideline chasing candy, but we loved seeing him on the float. Syd enjoyed the parade and loved being able to people watch, she is such a busy body. Jax also couldn't wait to ride a mutton in the rodeo this year, and he did so good! (picture overload below) He didn't win the trophy that he wanted but did much better than he did last year and he was super excited about that. I love the pictures of him riding the sheep, his face just cracks me up! Love this boy, and my sweet sassy girl!
