Sydney Turns 1

On August 29th our little pretty turned 1, and oh what a year it's been! She is the complete opposite of everything Jaxsen was. We thought we were prepared to have another baby but this little sweetie has kept us on our toes since the before she was even here. We wouldn't change anything about her  and love her spunky, independent and go go go personality. We had a traditional family party for her, Grandma and Grandpa Hatch, Grandma Barkdull and one very special and all important Great-Grandpa Hatch. Grandpa thought she NEEDED to test out her cake before the party started.. well it is her birthday. Sydney Isabell you are just the sweetest little girl that makes our family complete. The way you look at us with those big blue eyes will get you almost anything your little heart desires and you know it! You HAVE to know what is going on with everyone all the time. You are the only baby that I know that can get from one room to the next in 5 seconds flat and back again. Your so busy that we call you Busy Izzy and it fits you to a T. If your legs stop then you must be sleeping because if  your awake you have places to go and people to see. You LOVE going somewhere but  you hate riding in your car seat and get completely irate as soon as those buckles click together. You love your big brother and want to play with whatever it is that he has, (which he doesn't think is that fun.) You have a few dolls laying around the house but would rather play trucks any day of the week. You are getting those diesel engine noises down and love crashing trucks together, you think it's hilarious! We love you so much and can't wait to see you grow into a young beautiful lady.  

 Of course Grandma didn't forget about Jax and had to bring a little something for him to play with during the party.

Syd was ALMOST walking by her birthday but didn't quite have the confidence to get up and go.. but an hour with this thing and she was off! She just couldn't believe herself when that thing started rolling and she was following behind.  

 She wasn't quite sure about the cake at first but after a bit she was all into it! Jax helped  her of course and showed her how to shove cake into her mouth. Thanks Jax ;)
