We had such a fun and BUSY summer and as always, it goes by to fast!! Syd learned that she LOVES to ride horses. Once she's on it's not fun getting her off. Papa led her in circles all day while she would wave and take her hat off and say yyyyeeehhhhaaa!!!
Nothing better than a nap with Papa on our way to Jackson.
And some driving in "Old Grey" with Grandpa Hatch. My kids are truly so lucky to be surrounded by so many people who love them and think they are just the sweetest things ever.
This spring was so wet and rainy that we discovered Morel mushrooms and we ALL loved them. We went out every weekend or so for two-three weeks hunting and always came home with dozens of them. It's just so nice to load the kids up, drive up in the hills and play around together.
Syd had HORRIBLE allergies this year. There wasn't much of anything that really helped either. Poor girl.
Jax had his bike stolen toward the end of school. He always rides it out to the bus stop in the morning and parks it by our neighbors porch. When he got home after school I didn't see it there. He was devastated and we loaded up and went on the hunt. Luckily we found it in Driggs and one of the schools and figured that a kid probably missed his bus in the morning and took Jax's bike and then it was raining so hard in the afternoon he decided to ride the bus home and leave Jaxsen's bike laying in the grass at the school. Whatever happened we were just so happy to have it back.
Amy and I took the kids to the water park in Rexburg and played for hours and went a few rounds on the carousel. The kids have so much fun together and look at how cute Sydney and Taytum are in their matching swim suits.
We also got some new neighbors this spring. Their boys are 9 and 3 so the kids had fun with kids their own age. Lots of water play.
And here in the country when you don't have a slip and slide.. you make one yourself. The kids had so much fun. 2 tarps a few stakes and a bottle of dish soap and we had some tired kids.
Afternoon naps in your baby blanket
Cute, short haircut for summer.
Figure 8 races around the 4th of July
And watering flowers for Grandma Barkdull
